Torrey Pines Golf Course ~ La Jolla California

Torrey Pines is owned and operated by the city of San Diego.  This La Jolla golf course is known as a "golfer's paradise" for the views are spectacular with mountains to the north, and the Pacific Ocean to the west .

 

There are two 18-home championship courses at Torrey Pines, the South Course and North Course.  Torrey Pines is host to the Buick Invitational of the PGA Tour and has been since 1968.  Torrey Pines has one of the largest on-course golf shops in the United States.  There is even an excellent youth program at Torrey Pines.

I am due to play at Torrey Pines in the next couple of weeks. I have always wanted to do so and now I have my chance.  I can't wait!!
