It's that time of year again. Time to start setting the alarm clocks before you go to bed. Time to start packing lunches. Time for parents to hear those dreaded words "I don't want to go to school today". The first day of school is on September 4th. The day after Labor Day. I am sure that some children dread this time of year while others are excited. Either way, it's time. Located in the La Jolla Village area of La Jolla you will find the La Jolla High School. La Jolla High School serves approximately 1675 students in grades 9-12. The school is located within the San Diego Unified School District. The School calendar is loaded with information for current and up-coming events.
Located at 1111 Marine Street in La Jolla is the La Jolla Elementary School. Also a memeber of the San Diego Unified School District. On Sundays the La Jolla Elementary school hosts the Open Aire Market in it's upper playground. At the market there is live music, arts, a diverse Food Court and Certified Farmer's Market fruits vegetables and flowers. Parking is free and the Market is open no matter what the weather is like. http://www.lajollacommunities.com/00653B Posted on August 07, 2007 13:22:17 by Marti Gellens
