Public Schools in La Jolla

Listing of Public Schools in La Jolla

 

For a complete listing of schools located in La Jolla you can click here. The schools in La Jolla are part of the San Diego Unified School District.  The SDUSD serves nearly 133,000 students and is the second larges district in California and the eighth largest in the United States.  It serves more than 15 ethnic groups.

For those of you who are new to La Jolla, the La Jolla public Schools consist of three Elementary schools for children in Kindergarten through the fifth grade.

  • Bird Rock Elementary, which is located at 5371 Lower Hermosa Ave. 
  • La Jolla Elementary, which is located at 1111 Marine Street in the La Jolla Village area of La Jolla 
  • Torrey Pines Elementary, which is located at 8350 Cliffridge Ave. in the La Jolla Heights area of La Jolla.

There is only one Middle School in La Jolla.  It is the Muirlands Middle School, located at 1056 Nautilus St. in the Muirlands area of La Jolla.

The only High School in La Jolla is La Jolla High, which is at 750 Nautilus St. in the Muirlands area of La Jolla.

All public schools in the state of California must provide information about themselves through a School Accountability Report Card.
