Leave a comment » La Jollas Annual Cow Parade - March 15 through June 15The world's largest public art event is making its first appearance in California in La Jolla this spring!! Regional artists' work is being displayed on forty life sized- fiberglass cows, and placed all over the La Jolla community for travelers to discover. More like a scavenger hunt than a parade, with maps provided to help find the bovine artwork, the Cow Parade is fun for adults and children alike!! At the end of the show, the cows are to be auctioned for charity, so it is all good!!
The Cow Parade is also a great opportunity for local businesses to become involved on many levels. Businesses may promote themselves with cow window displays and promotions, or by helping to sponsor the event. Share your ideas with the Cow Parade organizers by calling:
Tiffany: (858) 454-5718
This event has been scaled down from its original plan to show 200 cows, but it will be lots of fun, and a reason to get out and enjoy the La Jolla weather!!
