A great new La Jolla event is coming up shortly, for pet lovers and the business community alike! Through sponsorship of local businesses, a small donation of only $50, this parade and festival for La Jolla animal charity will benefit SNAP (Spay Neuter Action Project) and the Feral Cat Coalition, two local organizations dedicated to reducing the unwanted puppy and cat population!!  This is an example of how La Jolla residents work together to solve problems in their community, creating a low cost spay/neuter clinic while having fun at the same time!!

Pet friendly business owners can take advantage of this event in many ways. Your business will be listed as an event participant, and you will receive a decal to put on the door of your business (a paw print) to show you are pet friendly and are participating in this day. Businesses can donate prizes for raffle and contest winners, too.

Planning is proceeding for Saturday, May 16. There will be vendor booths, contests and prizes for this very pet-friendly event!! Watch for news of this enjoyable day coming very soon!  It promises to be a day you and your pet can enjoy, while contributing to a very good cause!!
