When buying your La Jolla home you might be all excited to get the keys from the previous owners move in and get settled in. All the months of searching for a home, getting the inspections and mortgage and the anticipation of finally moving in you might not think about your own personal security. Comment from: Kim [Visitor] Thanks Maxine & Marti! What a nice surprise! We appreciate the mention, and we appreciate you! We too, can recommend La Jolla Lock & Safe. :) For you, and for your customers, remember to always hire only BSIS (Bureau of Security & Investigative Services) licensed locksmiths. In California, it's the law. It's also very important for your peace of mind. There is a nationwide scam going on with a New York company calling itself "local" - They are prevalent in San Diego, taking up the vast majority of physical and online Yellow Page listings, as well as the vast majority of online listings (Yahoo, MSN, Google, etc.). Please read the latest BBB warning about this company and other Locksmith Scams here on our site: http://www.sandiegolockandsafe.com/locksmithscams.html Remember, the locksmith who changes your locks is also the locksmith you're trusting your home and family to. California Locksmith Licenses can be checked here, 24 hours a day. At the above link you can check by company name, portion of company name, license number, city, and more. ALL California locksmith licenses are three letters, followed by four numbers. Make sure the name you've been given matches the license number, and that your pre-printed invoice matches the above, and lists the same license number on it. That too is the law. Licensed locksmiths in California are not only following the law, but they have been fingerprinted and checked against FBI & DOJ databases. :) Feel free to call us anytime, even if you just have a question to ask. We're here to help. Cheers! Kim Stagg Comment on this article This post has no feedback awaiting moderation... |
