Jet Set Model and Talent Agency

According to an article in Transworld Business there is a unique talent and modeling agent in La Jolla.  Her name is Cindy Kauanui.  She is the owner of Jet Set Model and Talent Agency located at 2160 Avenida De La Playa in La Jolla.  Ms. Kauanui relocated with her three sons to La Jolla in 1992 after Hurricane Iniki destroyed over 1,400 homes and damaged 5,000 more.

Ms. Kauanui did not like to scout "unhealthy, drug addicted" models and decided to create a brand identity for her new agency based on the lifestyle of the beach.  She liked healthy, sun-kissed models which she found on the beaches of La Jolla.  Sanoe Lake is one of Jet Set's original surfer model girls and has recently released a book about surfing called Surfer Girl.  The agency has represented surfers Rochelle Ballard, Keala Kennelly, Reef McIntosh and Kalani Robb just to name a few.

Roxy was one of the first brands to use Jet Set's models but others such as IMG and Ford use them today.  Jet Set Actors have starred in feature films such as "Blue Crush" and have been featured in such films as "Sideways" and "Sandlot 2". 

 Jet Set has models that come in all ages.  Including Babies, Kids, Men and Women.  They reprepsent model, actors and actresses alike.
